The company has officially revealed the first images of the 2014 BMW M3 and M4 on the web, ahead of an imminent online reveal.
The all-new M3 Sedan comes with features that include a bold new front fascia with black kidney grilles and beefy dual front air intakes along with a redesigned hood featuring a power dome. Other highlights include twin five-spoke grey alloys, aerodynamic exterior mirrors and gold brake calipers. At the back, there’s a new bumper with a redesigned diffuser and a familiar quad exhaust arrangement.
Talking about M4 Coupe, it closely resembles the concept shown earlier this year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It wears the same gold hue with matching brake calipers and also has a carbon fiber roof. Overall, the coupe seems to be a bit sleeker than its four-door sibling while the interior will be virtually the same on both versions.
Both the models will feature a 3.0-liter inline-six TwinPower Turbo engine outputting around 430 HP (316 kw) and more than 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. The M3 Sedan is expected to have a curb weight of less than 3,306 lbs (1,500 kg) and will also be around 25 percent more economical than its predecessor.
