A prototype of the 2014 BMW M3 Sedan (F80) was seen on German roads with a Mineral White exterior paint.
Just some time back a M4 Coupe was spotted on Audi’s turf in Ingolstadt and now its M3 four-door sedan sibling was noticed on the German roads with an attractive Mineral White paintjob and a red leather interior cabin.
BMW developed a new 3.0-liter inline-six engine with an output of 431 HP (317 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque working with either a standard 6-speed manual or an optional 7-speed M DCT. With the latter, the M3 Sedan will be able to achieve the 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) sprint in 4.1 seconds and can hit a top speed of 155 mph (250 kmph) or 174 mph (280 km/h) when configured with the M Driver’s Package.
However if you are willing to pay more, the model can be equipped with an optional carbon fiber roof that will help to reduce 5 kg (11 lbs) from the car’s weight and it will also lower its center of gravity.
The all-new M3 and M4 will be displayed at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) that will be held in January in Detroit.
