A few days ago we’ve presented you the latest spy shots of the new M3 model (internally called F80), which made its appearance as a four-door sedan. Well, today we have something more for you… thanks to Bimmer Post, we have this car on video!
AS some of you might remember from our previous post, the new M3 will be the first of the M3 versions to appear on the market in summer 2013. The coupe version will follow later on and will probably be named M4 since the new 3 series based coupes and convertibles are rumored to get the 4 series name. Anyway, there is still a long time until the M3/4 Coupe makes its debut so things may change until then.
The video below shows this prototype with the wider fenders and the big air intakes in the front bumper. Big brakes and the quad exhaust pipes are other typical M features that we can see here.
No details about the power are available at this time. However, the rumor say that this car will be powered by a turbo charged six cylinder engine this time, the unsure part is if there will be two , or three turbochargers.
Considering that the current model is priced at $55,900 – $67,550 and the upcoming one is will be more ‘hight-tech’, the 2014 BMW M3 will probably exceed the $70-75,000 limit. These are all the information at this time, but stay tuned for more in the upcoming months.
