2014 Corvette C7.R rendered with two-tone livery

by SpeedLux

The first undisguised photo of the 2014 Corvette C7.R has surfaced on the net recently.

Set to compete in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, the model has been given a two-tone exterior paint along with other features that include a front splitter, a ventilated hood and a prominent rear wing. We can also see carbon fiber canards and plenty of sponsor logos.

Talking about the power, there is no detail available as of now on what powers the model but there is a “Flex Fuel” badging on the model which means that it can run on either petrol or ethanol. There have been some previous reports as well that have indicated that it will use an upgraded version of the 5.5-liter V8 that resides in the C6.R.

The models in the images look pretty good with yellow and black shades but there are quite a few logos on it and it would really hard to find a blank space on the body. The Corvette C7.R will compete in the Rolex 24 At Daytona on the 25th of January next year. The details are quite limited as of now but we should be able to get more info about C7.R in the coming months.
