The facelifted 2014 Dacia Duster has been spied recently undergoing hot weather testing somewhere in southern Europe ahead of a public launch scheduled to take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Dacia Duster went on sale in the year 2010 and so this was probably the right time for the Romanian budget brand to give some facelift for its low-cost SUV. The images show a lightly camouflaged prototype which hides the front and rear fascias which will go through a few changes to keep the model fresh.
Talking about the interiors, the cabin is expected to have few changes to mirror the layout and looks of the second generation Logan and Sandero models. Also the engine lineup could be expanded with additional Renault offerings. If we talk about the prices, we can expect it to remain the same for the simple reason that it’s one of most crucial aspects for the entire Dacia brand.
Nissan will get its own version of the Dacia/Renault Duster which will revive the Terrano moniker later this year. Nissan’s variant will come with a more premium exterior design along with some cool interior changes which may result in increase in the price of the SUV.
