Dodge had officially introduced the 2014 Journey Crossroad at the Chicago Auto Show.
Set to go on sale this spring, the Crossroad comes equipped with features that include modified bumpers, revised side skirts and a gloss black grille. Other highlights of the model include platinum chrome accents, tinted lighting units and 19-inch Hyper Black alloy wheels.
In terms of interiors, the cabin is pretty much similar to the standard model but comes nicely equipped with black leather seats, Liquid Graphite trim and an 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system. There’s also a leather-wrapped steering wheel, contrast stitching and power front seats.
The entry-level 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is able to generate an output of 173 hp (129 kW) and 166 lb-ft (225 Nm) of torque, while the optional 3.6-liter V6 will be able to output 283 hp (211 kW) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. They are further mated to four- and six-speed automatic transmissions which can be backed up by an optional all-wheel drive system.
The Journey Crossroad will be fit between the Journey SXT and Journey Limited and the pricing will kick off from $ 24,995 (excluding a destination fee of $ 995).
