2014 Honda Civic Coupe & Civic Si Coupe unveiled at SEMA

Honda has officially unveiled the 2014 Civic and Civic Si Coupes at SEMA.

Following in the footsteps of the recently facelited sedan, the coupe comes equipped with features that include new bumpers, a revised hood, a restyled grille, new front fenders, revised mirrors and updated head- and taillights.

The Si Coupe also comes with similar upgrades but can be distinguished by a revised front bumper, a rear diffuser, a trunk-mounted spoiler and new 18-inch alloy wheels.

The company did not release detailed performance specifications but the Si Coupe comes fitted with a retuned exhaust that enables the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to generate an output of 205 hp (153 kW) and 174 lb-ft (235 Nm) of torque which is a minute upgrade of 4 hp (3 kW) and 4 lb-ft (5 Nm).

American Honda’s executive vice president of auto sales, John Mendel stated that the further advancement of the 2014 Civic Coupe and Si models and an exciting path forward for performance parts that has been drawn on their racing experience, they are making a statement on their commitment to the fun to drive character of the Honda brand.
