The upcoming and yet-to-be launched 2014 Hyundai Genesis has been spied while it was undergoing testing at the Nürburgring.
The prototype is heavily camouflaged which makes it quite difficult to identify the changes done, but we can see the model features a prominent grille that has been taken from the HCD-14 Genesis concept. It also appears when closely looked that it features sweptback headlights, a dual exhaust system and wraparound taillights.
Talking about the engines options, they are expected to carryover and so we can expect choices to include a 3.8-liter V6 engine with power generation capacity of with 333 hp (248 kW) and 291 lb-ft (394 Nm) of torque as well as a 5.0-liter V8 engine with power generation capacity of 429 hp (320 kW) and 376 lb-ft (509 Nm) of torque. Both the engines would be connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission that can be paired to a newly optional all-wheel drive system.
There are limited details available as of now. However, the CEO of Hyundai Motor America, John Krafcik, recently revealed that the model will be unveiled at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. We will get you more details as soon as we come to know about it and more such spied pictures and videos whenever possible.
