2014 Jaguar F-Type Coupe spied

by SpeedLux

The Jaguar F-Type Coupe has been spied undergoing testing before an official unveiling in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Considered to be a fixed roof version of the F-Type Roadster, the coupe will be offered with the same engines which means we can expect options of a V6 3.0-liter supercharged engine with 340 HP (250 kW), a supercharged V6 3.0-liter engine generating 380 HP (279 kW) and a supercharged V8 5.0-liter with power output of 495 HP (364 kW).

There are speculations about the entry-level version being fitted with a turbocharged 4-cylinder 2.0-liter engine producing 240 HP (177 kW) and 251 lb-ft (340 Nm). At the other end of the lineup, the alleged F-Type R-S Coupe will be able to deliver more than 709 HP (522 kW) and should hit a top speed in excess of 200 mph (322 kmph). This range-topping model is scheduled to come out in 2016.
