Jaguar has recently released the first teaser image of the 2014 F-Type Coupe, ahead of its official launch slated to be held on November 19th.
Previewed by the C-X16 concept, the production model will follow in the footsteps of the F-Type Roadster and will also adopt a stylish design featuring sensuous curves and muscular rear fenders. In the teaser image we can see that the coupe will be available with a panoramic glass roof.
Engine options will quite likely be carried over from the roadster and so we can expect choices to include a turbo charged 3.0-liter V6 engine with output of 340 HP (250 kW), a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 mill rated at 380 HP (279 kW) and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with output of 495 HP (364 kW).
Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum was quoted saying, “The excitement generated when we revealed the C-X16 concept was terrific; so to now be on the cusp of what I can assure you will be a drama-filled reveal event in Los Angeles for F-TYPE Coupe is a very significant moment.”
The Jaguar F-Type Coupe will go on sale in North America next spring and the pricing will be announced later probably near to the launch.
