2014 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse to cost $259,100

by SpeedLux

According to a recent report, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse will come with a base price of a monstrous $259,100 which is excluding a $2,100 gas guzzler tax and an unknown destination fee in the United States.

The report further states that only 15 models are destined for the America and they will be available exclusively in Giallo Midas (yellow) exterior paint. This is tad peculiar as the company had previously stated that the car would be offered in various colours such as Bianco Monocerus (white), Grigio Thalasso (grey), Rosso Mars (red) and also the aforementioned Giallo Midas (yellow).

In terms of power, the Squadra Corse will have a Super Trofeo-inspired styling and would come fitted with a V10 engine that would generate 570 HP (419 kW). The engine would be mated to a six-speed e-gear transmission which will enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds and can hit a top speed of 320 kmph (199 mph).

The Squadra Corse is expected to be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show to be held next month in September in Germany.
