Lexus has recently disclosed its plans to showcase a Turbo version of the LF-NX concept at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.
Just a couple of months ago we got to see Lexus’ striking LF-NX concept which came with the largest application of the spindle grille being unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. The concept will now be making a comeback at the Tokyo Motor Show but sans the 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine. Instead, now it will be powered by a newly developed turbo charged 2.0-liter gasoline engine which is set to bring guaranteed power and improved fuel economy.
Aside from receiving a new engine at the heart, the Lexus LF-NX Turbo can also be distinguished by a lower center of gravity and features a front under spoiler to create a sportier appearance. Talking about the interiors, the cabin now comes equipped with a remote touch interface with touchpad functionality for a more user-friendly approach.
The Tokyo Motor Show will be held later in this month at Japan and we can expect more models to be included in the show as the list is slowly but steadily being released by the motor companies.
