2014 Mercedes B-Class facelift spied

Mercedes is making facelift for the Mercedes B-Class, and some spies have found the compact MPV taking a rest from testing in the hills of southern Europe.

Details are fairly small in amount although based on the minimum disguise this test car is having, expect only subtle design tweaks based on the front end, with what appear to be slimmer, angular headlights, a bulkier smaller bumper and bigger air intakes.

The outer redesign is otherwise restricted at this stage to improved taillights, but interior Mercedes looks set to implement a more concerned overhaul. While the whole layout looks essentially same as before, with three central metal aircon vents apparently visible and again located under the huge centrally-mounted colour display, the B-Class will have new in-car tech and extra standard kit.

Under the metal, it’s not confirmed if Mercedes will innovate the existing engine range, but power outputs and efficiency could both have a small boost.

Commonly in the run up to the Paris Motor Show in October this year, the updated B-Class is probably going to appear in public for the first time.
