2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG spied testing at Nurburgring

by SpeedLux

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has been spied yet again and this time conducting testing at the tracks of Nürburgring in Germany.

In these latest spy pics, we can see car wearing a heavy amount of camouflage and so it is very difficult to comment about the designing of the car. However, there were images that were posted in April of an undisguised regular C-Class and so it’s not really very hard to guess how the model would look with an AMG-specific body kit. In other words, we can expect beefy bumpers and wheel arches, bigger side skirts, larger air vents and a quad exhaust system to be part of this C63 AMG.

Talking about the power, motivation will probably be provided by a twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter engine borrowed from the E63 AMG but with reduced output of around 525 hp (391 kW). The decrease in the output is mainly so that it does not exceed its elder brother’s model which comes with an output of 550 hp (410 kW) in the standard E63 AMG and 577 hp (430 kW) in the 4MATIC S-Model.

We can surely expect some more details to be out soon of this upcoming 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.
