Its the new Mercedes Benz E-Class, facelifted version folks!
In the latest news, we have some thing special for you today, the images of the 2014 Mercedes Benz E-Class facelifted version have popped out very early, just a few weeks ahead of the car’s public debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. No official claims have been made yet, on the new E-class, but it is clear that the E-Class has been given an extensive makeover that brings it in-line with Merc’s newer models.
The first thing one notices is the change in the look of the headlight, reverting to a one-piece design, the lights nonetheless retain a connection to the pre-facelift model through the use of split LED light ribbons around each globe. Changes to the E-Class’ sheet metal reveal new character lines in the car’s profile, the large rear guards making way for a softer and smoothed-out appearance. The outgoing model’s squared face has been replaced with a redesigned grille and more sculpted bumper, while the quad headlights make room for single units on each side. Changes to the rear are more subtle, made up of revised headlights and a new bumper, while the 2014 E-Class will also sport a new hood, there is also a new chrome garnish style, and a subtly updated bumper with new exhaust tips.
The engine lineup is expected to include the 3.5-liter V6 for the E350, rated at 333 horsepower, a turbocharged 4.6-liter V8 good for 435 hp for the E500/E550, and a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 capable of 537 hp for the E63 AMG.
