Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG tears up the Nurburgring

by SpeedLux

The track at Nürburgring has been chock-full of prototypes and the latest model undergoing its training at the track was the 2014 Mercedes GLA 45 AMG.

Looking somewhat unruffled, the crossover tackles the ‘Green Hell’ with ease which is due to a sport-tuned suspension and a hatchback-like design. The model will likely be equipped with an aggressive body kit that includes modified bumpers and revised side skirts.

Just like the CLA45 AMG, the crossover will also be comes fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can generate output of 360 HP (265 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. It would be most likely connected to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch transmission and a performance-oriented 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

Mercedes will likely unveil the GLA 45 AMG at the Frankfurt Motor Show which is going to be held in September which means the GLA 45 AMG should be introduced sometime next year.

The model looks quite amazing and we will provide further details as and when released by the company or if we get to know from the sources.
