Mercedes-Benz has recently released the video teaser of the upcoming S63 AMG which is scheduled to go on sale in 2014.
Some time back, the company had released a video recorded at the Sindelfingen factory in Germany to announce the commencement of the production of S-Class series. Accidently (or not), the footage also showed the 2014 S63 AMG which is now being teased in this official clip released by the company. It can be said that it would be one of the shortest car-related teasers ever and so we don’t get to see much, except for the V8 Biturbo badge on the digital speedometer, along with a quick look of the side and front fascia.
Under the hood, the power should come from a twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter engine borrowed from the E63 AMG with output of approximately 557 HP (410 kW). A more powerful S-Model fitted with the same engine is expected to generate 585 HP (430 kW). A 7-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox and AWD will be part of the package.
An official reveal of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG could happen in the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show to be held in September.
