Mercedes-Benz has now displayed the first images of the all new V-Class that is scheduled to be out sometime next year in 2014.
There were rumors that were doing rounds earlier that Mercedes-Benz has plans to replace the Viano nameplate with this V-Class which and it will also serve as a replacement for the slow-selling R-Class and now it seems to be perfect. There are chances that the new model will be shown in entirety during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show to be held next March and should reach dealerships shortly after that.
Codenamed W447, the new model brings back the V-Class moniker which was phased out almost a decade ago and we have also come to know from the company that business owners will receive a more upscale version that will be sold with the Vito name.
These initial set of pics released by the company with the V-Class confirm Mercedes-Benz’s plan to switch to a more people-oriented vehicle as the car boasts of features such as a premium cabin with wood inserts, chocolate leather upholstery, several metallic accents and an overall design which looks quite similar to the company’s most recent passenger cars.
