by SpeedLux

Mercedes-Benz has recently released a teaser image for the V-Class which will be fully revealed on January 30th next year, ahead of a public debut scheduled to take place at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014.

We have already seen the images of the interior cabin of the Viano-replacing V-Class and now the company is providing a first glimpse of the car’s exterior design as well. Based on what we have come to know from various sources till now, the more passenger-oriented V-Class will fill in the gap left by the unsuccessful R-Class and will be commercialized within the firm’s passenger car showrooms.

There are rumors that have suggested that the 2014 V-Class will be offered with a 4-cylinder, 2.1-liter diesel engine with outputs of 136 HP (100 kW), 170 HP (125 kW) and 190 HP (139 kW) working together with a 7- or 8-speed automatic transmission and an optional AWD arrangement.

The details about the model are limited as of now but we can expect more details to be revealed pretty soon and so stay tuned to know more about the V-Class model.
