2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo officially revealed with 600 HP

by SpeedLux

Nissan has officially taken the wraps off the 2014 GT-R Nismo.

The model comes equipped with V6 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine and with raised output of 600 HP (441 kW) and 652 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque. The additional power has been possible thanks to new high-flow turbochargers with a larger diameter which were derived from the GT3-spec car. Also, the engineers have optimized the ignition timing control for each of the six cylinders and they also improved the fuel pump combustion.

It rides on exclusive Dunlop tires with dimensions of 255/40 ZRF20 in front and 285/35 ZRF20 at rear and benefits from a hollow rear anti-roll bar. The model also comes fitted with new links to the front double wishbone suspension and has received large high-rigidity bolts for increasing stiffness around the wheel hub attachment area. The car will be available with various body paint schemes such as Brilliant White Pearl, Meteor Flake Pearl Black, Ultimate Metallic Silver and Vibrant Red and it will be further matched to six-spoke black alloy wheels derived from the firm’s GT500 racecar.

The 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in February next year, while in United States and Europe it will be done after sometime.
