Opel has recently introduced the 2014 Astra.
Looking pretty similar to its predecessor, the updated model can be fitted with a new 1.6-liter CDTI engine that generates an output of 136 HP (100 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the hatchback to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in 10.3 seconds and can hit a top speed of 200 kmph (124 mph). The model will return an average 3.9 L/100km (60.3 mpg US / 72.4 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of just above 100 g/km.
Talking about the interiors, the cabin comes equipped with a new IntelliLink infotainment system that has a seven-inch touchscreen display. The entry-level system comes fitted with a CD player and Bluetooth/USB/AUX connectivity, while the range-topping Navi 950 variant boasts European-wide GPS navigation.
Well thats not all, the customers will have an option to order a new Active package that includes features such as LED daytime running lights, Piano Black trim, cloth / leather seats and an entry-level IntelliLink infotainment system.
It sounds good and we can expect that this updated 2014 Opel Astra may become more popular than its predecessor and the customers also get a feel-good factor with this model.
