Skoda has officially revealed the 2014 Yeti facelift that will premiere at IAA next month in Frankfurt.
The facelifted Yeti looks more refined than the outgoing model and comes with features of the now familiar Skoda front fascia with the corporate grille, a sportier front bumper and bi-xenon headlights with LED DRLs.
Skoda is offering two styling versions of the 2014 Yeti, the white one meant for the city while the green one has an off-road look which is due to the black bumpers, side mouldings, underride guard and door sills which on the city version are painted in the same color as the rest of the body. However both the versions have the same ground clearance at 180mm.
It’s the first Skoda model to be offered with an optional rear-view camera and provides a cargo capacity of 405 liters with the rear seats up or 1,760 liters once they are put down.
The model is available with a choice of three gasoline and four diesel engines, with output ranging from 105 HP (77 kW) in the 1.2 TSI to 170 HP (125 kW) in the 2.0 TDI. Depending on the engine selected, front- or all-wheel drive system is available, along with six-speed manual or six- and seven-speed DSG.
