2014 Subaru WRX and WRX STI pricing announced (US)

by SpeedLux

Subaru has recently released pricing information for the 2014 WRX and WRX STI for the US markets.

These models could probably be at their last model year before the next generation model arrives. Therefore Subaru is stubbornly sticking to the current-gen WRX and now they have released pricing data which starts off from 25,955 USD for the WRX available at the same price for both four- and five-door versions.

If one opts for the WRX STI four-door version, the price is 34,495 USD, while the five-door STI model is expensive by 2,000 USD. These prices are without destination charges which would be additional 795 USD destination fee. Frankly speaking, the WRX / WRX STI don’t look that interesting anymore, especially with the next-gen model is right around the corner.

The 2014 Subaru WRX comes fitted with a 4-cylinder turbocharged 2.5-liter boxer engine that generates 265 hp (198 kW) and 244 lb-ft (330 Nm) of torque. The engine works exclusively with an old five-speed manual gearbox and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive System. On the other hand, the STI version generates 305 hp (227 kW), works with six-speed manual and the Multi-Mode Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) version of the aforementioned AWD system.
