2014 Toyota Highlander pricing announced, goes on sale in February

Toyota has officially announced the pricing of the 2014 Highlander as it prepared to go on sale in the United States in February next year.

The entry-level model will be priced from $29,215 but comes sparsely equipped including an eight seat interior, a backup camera, an Entune audio system and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Moving on to the LE Plus, it adds an eight-way power driver seat, an upgraded audio system, a tri-zone automatic climate control system and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Other highlights include fog lights and a power liftgate. Next is the XLE that comes with heated leather front seats, a moonroof and a premium audio system with GPS navigation and an 8-inch display.

The range-topping Limited boasts perforated leather seats, heated / cooled front seats and a variety of safety systems. Other highlights include LED daytime running lights and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood, engines options available include:
• A 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 185 hp (138 kW)
• A 3.5-liter V6 mill rated at 270 hp (201 kW) and 248 lb-ft (335 Nm) of torque
• A hybridized 3.5-liter V6 engine with a combined maximum output of 280 hp (209 kW)
