2015 Audi A8 facelift spied for the first time

by SpeedLux

The Audi A8 has been in the markets for quite some time now and it is one of the finest cars and is loved by almost everyone. The company is now planning to make a minor facelift for their flagship sedan.

The prototype is heavily camouflaged which makes it quite difficult to identify the changes done, but it appears that the car will feature a revised grille, modified bumpers, restyled lighting units, new exhaust finishers which are neatly incorporated into the rear bumper.

With respect to interiors, not much detail is available as of now but there is speculation that the cabin is expected to receive an updated infotainment system and, possibly, a redesigned instrument cluster.

Talking about the engines options, they are expected to carryover and so we can expect choices to include a 3.0-liter V6 TDI, a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI, a 4.0-liter V8 TFSI and a 4.2-liter V8 TDI. There are also chances of some hybrid engines such as hybridized 2.0-liter TFSI, a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 TFSI and a 6.3-liter W12 FSI with power generation of 500 HP (368 kW).

The facelifted Audi A8 is expected to be launched in the coming year as a 2015 model. Till then we will have to wait for any further updates or details received from the company and as soon as we come to know about it we will surely let you know.
