The all-new Audi Q7 has been spied yet again and this time with slightly less camouflage.
As already seen in earlier spy images, the new generation of the Audi Q7 seems to be a tad smaller but maybe that is because of the more sloping roofline. Other highlights of the model include low ground clearance, a massive front grille and a completely new bumper with generous air intakes.
The SUV will supposedly be lighter by around 800 lbs (363 kg) and may come equipped with 6- and 8-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, including a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI rated at 310 HP (228 kW) and a 4.2-liter V8 TDI producing 385 HP (283 kW). We can also expect to see a plug-in hybrid packing a 3.0-liter TDI and an electric motor that generates an extra 115 HP (84 kW) during the car’s lifespan.
As per the reports, we can expect the car to be unveiled in public in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show. However if that does not happen, the new Q7 will likely be showcased at the Paris Motor Show in September 2014. The model will go on sale towards the end of 2014 as a 2015MY model.
