2015 Hyundai Genesis tackles the Nürburgring [video]

Hyundai has recently released a new video of the 2015 Genesis tackling the tracks of Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The company however declined to release the time within which the car managed to lap the tracks but did mention the fact that it has a Lotus-tuned chassis with a continuous damping control system. The automaker also mentions that the car comes with features such as HTRAC all-wheel drive system and the Intelligent Drive Mode which alters the transmission mapping, throttle responsiveness, stability control and suspension damping settings according to the driver’s preferences.

As previously reported, the 2015 Genesis with be offered with two different engines. The entry-level 3.8-liter V6 engine that generates as output of 311 hp (232 kW) and 293 lb-ft (397 Nm) of torque, while the optional 5.0-liter V8 engine manages to generate an output of 420 hp (313 kW) and 383 lb-ft (519 Nm) of torque.

The details are limited as of now about the model but we can expect more details to be out soon in the coming months regarding the timing of completing the track and also other car related info to be released by the company.
