According to a recent report, Jaguar has plans to preview their entry-level sedan with a thinly veiled concept at the Paris Motor Show next year.
Details are limited as of now but Jaguar design director Ian Callum told one of the auto magazine that the model will follow the current design trends of Jaguar. The executive went on to say that they had established a beautiful design and that they need to start using it on a family and this design will be part of the family.
As reported previously, the sedan will ride on the iQ[Al] platform and could adopt the XS moniker. Jaguar did not reveal much detail about the specifications but has previously confirmed that the model will be offered with a variety of engines including the ones will enable the model to touch the top speed in excess of 300 kmph (186 mph) and also have CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km.
The production model is slated to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015 and is expected to go on sale shortly thereafter.
