Nissan has unveiled the updated 370Z NISMO in a surprise debut at North Carolina “ZDAYZ” event, an annual gathering of Nissan, Datsun and NISMO sports car owners and performance enthusiasts.

The refreshed 370Z NISMO brings us updated interior with GT-R supercar inspired aerodynamic body pieces, deep front fascia with LED Hyper Daytime Running Lights, black headlight bezels, red accents and a new NISMO rear spoiler that has been reshaped and downsized.

There are also new standard 19-inch NISMO super-lightweight forged aluminum alloys with a twin-five spoke design.

Interior boasts redesigned black-and-red Recaro leather-appointed seats with Alcantara accents, an Alcantara-appointed leather-wrapped steering wheel and NISMO red tachometer.

In addition to new fresher look, the 370Z NISMO comes with a 7.0-inch VGA touch-sensitive display, RearView Monitor, Bose Audio System and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

Under the hood is the same old 3.7-liter DOHC V6 upgraded to produce 350 hp (up by 18hp). All this is possible thanks to H-configured exhaust system design, muffler tuning and an optimized calibration.

The engine can be linked to a standard close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission or a new refined 7-speed automatic with manual shift mode with paddle shifters.

The new updated 370Z NISMO will go on sale in June.
