2015 Nissan NP 300 Navara revealed with an evolutionary design

by Max Richardson

Nissan has unveiled the new Navara pickup that is now already in its twelfth generation. The popular pickup truck stays true to the outgoing model largely, but has now a less rugged look with a more premium look.

Nissan clearly knows what they are doing and rightfully points out that the new Navara is backed by Nissan’s 80 years of global pickup truck know-how and legendary reliability, meeting the needs of demanding individuals and business owners alike.

The highlight of the exterior design is a new V-motion front grille, plenty of chrome touches, LED daytime running lights and turn signals incorporated in the door mirrors.

To stand out from the crowd there are also new paint choices like Savannah Yellow and The Earth Bronze combined with black B-pillars and chrome exterior mirrors.

The interior is also a big step forward with higher qualit materials, aluminum-like touches and high-resolution TFT display in the instrument cluster.

Under the skin changes include updated leaf suspension and redused turning circle.

Engine options include a reworked 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter DOHC diesel engine with 163 hp and 297 lb-ft or 190 hp and 332 lb-ft.

A 2.5-liter inline-four gasoline is also offered. Both engines can be connected to a standard six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed automatic gearbox.

Other updates include Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist and Active Brake Limited Slip.
