Not long ago, we told you that the next generation 7-Series luxury sedan from the German automaker, BMW, would come with front passenger infotainment system. Now, no less than two images of the car have been uploaded on Facebook, revealing the 2016 model year luxury German sedan without any camouflage at all. It turns out that these images of the upcoming model from BMW have been made available for public consumption, thanks to Autobuzz.
Judging by the images, the vehicle in question will sport a prominent front grille between new headlamps that are smaller than those of the predecessor of the aforementioned model. In addition to the revised headlamps, the vehicle will also sport a new front bumper that comes with a rather low section. At a glance, this makes the upcoming 7-series look like the 6-series facelift model. The similarities do not end there. On the rear fascia of this new 7-Series model, we can see new taillights similar to those of the 6-Series facelift, also separated by some chrome accents.
Even though the Autobuzz has uploaded two images of the upcoming 7-Series luxury sedan, there are, unfortunately, no images at all that depict what kind of cabin and interior elements the car will offer.
Leaving from the exterior and interior of the car, it is now time to have a look at what engine options BMW will offer to buyers of its upcoming 7-Series. The car will reportedly come with a 2.0L engine with four cylinders, capable of 260 PS of power. For alternatives, buyers of the 2016 BMW 7-Series can also choose a six-cylinder engine (330 PS), V8 variant (460 hp), 6.6L V12 engine (600 PS). It is said that the car will also have diesel and plug-in hybrid engine options available. For these latter options, power output is rated at 275 hp and 400 PS.
