The 2016 Ford Focus RS was recently spotted undergoing intense testing. It was spied in ST clothing at the Nurburgring.
From the spied pics it is found the company has retained the front-wheel drive layout for the new car which is to be launched in 2016. It is expected to be an all-new Focus.
It is believed Ford may equip the car with a 4-cylinder, 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine providing an output of around 330 PS. The engine would be sourced from the Mustang.
It is learned the 2016 Ford Focus RS will be more powerful than the existing version.
Price wise it is assumed the auto giant may tag it around 27,000 GBP, which is around $46,100 or 34,100 EUR. It will be made available in North America first and then later in the European markets where the car will be facing some competition from the upcoming Civic Type R.
