2017 Suzuki Swift Scores Three Out Of Five in Euro NCAP

The most recent car to go undergo testing by the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) is the 2017 Suzuki Swift and it has achieved 3 out of 5 star safety score for the basic version and 4 out of 5 star ranking with the additional security pack.

Vehicle safety is gradually and steadily becoming increasingly important for car purchasers in worldwide, getting an idea of how the vehicle will perform throughout a crash is essential.

The following tests are carried out:

* Full Width Rigid Barrier: The vehicle is driven into a flat stiff barrier at 50 km/h.
* Offset-Deformable Barrier: The car is driven into a deformable barrier with a 40 percent overlap at 64 km/h.
* Side Pole: The automobile is collided sideways at 32km/h versus a stiff, narrow pole.
* Side Mobile Barrier: A deformable barrier installed on a trolley is driven at 50 km/h into the vehicle when it remains in fixed position at right angles.

It should be noted, that the car was a European-spec model. It means that any other if the automaker manufactures the model to any other continent, it will be same as this model in terms of appearance but it can omit some of the safety features that this model included.
