Previously this month a white pre-production prototype for the new 2018 Dodge Durango SRT was spied testing before its launching and now an all black example of the performance SUV has been captured by professional photographers.
The new pictures do not reveal excessive about the Durango SRT we don’t already understand, however they do work as a reminder that the three-row SUV will be with us soon. The performance Durango is anticipated to feature the same powertrain as the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, which includes a 485 horse power 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
In the appearances department, the Durango SRT will likely be distinguished by a brand new front fascia with a larger lower intake grille and revamped upper grille, new LED running lights and foglamps and other performance add-ons like SRT-style wheels and a new rear fascia. The Durango Shaker concept from the 2016 SEMA that indicated the Durango SRT‘s arrival likewise featured a rear center-exit double exhaust, much like the original Grand Cherokee SRT’s.
We’re anticipating Dodge to go SRT devilish at the 2017 New York Auto Show and debut the Durango SRT along with the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. That’s all set to go down in March.
