Three people were killed after a vehicle crash along an interstate in Philadelphia on Monday.
Two of the killed were Pennsylvania state troopers.
Pennsylvania State Police have identified the troopers as Martin Mack III, 33, and Branden Sisca, 29.
The third person’s identity was not provided as of early Monday.
The troopers were on the scene along Interstate 95 after they got calls about a man who had been walking in the southbound lanes of the highway.
As the troopers were trying to put him into custody and walk him back to the vehicle, another vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the left lane struck all three individuals.
The troopers were ejected into the northbound lanes of the highway from the impact.
Pennsylvania State Police is investigating the crash.
