The BMW M3 by Manhart has been revealed, and they address it as the MH3 V8 R Biturbo convertible. The well known tuners from germany have really tweaked the engine, and it now produces 655hp! And finally The Manhart MH3 V8 R Biturbo will be on display at the Essen Motor Show, from the 1st to the 9th of December, 2012, at Manhart Racing’s stand.
The BMW M3 by Manhart features a 4.4 litre V8 twin-turbo engine from the X6 M, under its hood, all thanks to the Manhart Racing (MHR), after tweaking the engine, it produces, 655 BHP, and at the same time its maximum torque has increased to a phenomenal 975 Nm, and they also took out the electronic Vmax (maximum speed) shackles, and now the convertible can race at more than 320 km/h when required. The tuners also rid of the engine exhaust fumes, and they installed their own designed stainless steel downpipes, as well as an Akrapovic Evolution Titanium exhaust system with a 200 cpsi sports catalytic converter system and four 90 mm tail pipes. The car has been equipped with MHR braking system with four-piston caliper brake pads and 396 mm brake discs on the front axle and 374 mm brake discs on the rear axle. The vehicle also features the six-speed sports automatic transmission from the X6 M, and is fitted with a differential lock for optimal traction.
On the outside, the car looks extremely beautiful and discrete. The developers used carbon-fibre elements, to give it a look of a sports car, as with the engine bonnet they included the GTR intakes, mirror caps, and diffuser, BMW performance carbon flaps have been installed and MHR decorative strips have been applied. the car sits proudly on the MHR Concave One Ultra-light forged wheels of the size, 9×20 inch and 12×20 inch, perfectly with high-performance tires of size 255/30ZR20 up front and 305/25ZR20 at the back. And inside the car, Manhart has also installed its own in-house display system, which provides the driver with all kinds of information on operating parameters and driving performance data.
