At least seven people died after a car crash in Iran‘s southern province of Hormozgan on Wednesday.

Officials said the crash between the two sedan cars left all passengers of the two cars dead.

Turning left by one of the cars was mentioned as the cause of the crash.

Official figures show over 20,000 people killed and 200,000 others wounded in traffic accidents annually in Iran.

The crashes mainly took place due to inexperienced driving and the low efficiency of the cars and the roads.
