A busy Lenox Road was resumed on Friday morning hours after a deadly crash.
Lenox Road was shut down at GA400 following a car crash involving at least one car at around 3 a.m.
Police said a Georgia state trooper tried to stop an Infinity Q50 for speeding around 3 a.m. on Georgia 400.
The driver turned off the vehicle’s lights, accelerated and got off the highway at the Lenox Road exit according to the police.
The Audi traveled throughout the intersection, struck a concrete wall, flipped over and burst into flames.
The trooper was able to put the fire out, but two people inside the car were dead.
Another person inside had serious injuries.
Investigation into the incident continues. Identities of the victims are yet to be released.
