Nissan has recently released the GT-R Nismo GT500 contender for the next year’s Super GT500 class.
Couple of car makers have already revealed their plans for the same competition which include Lexus unveiling the LF-CC and Honda launching the NSX Concept-GT racers. Now for the same competition, Nissan has also taken the wraps of their vehicle which is based on the GT-R.
All three cars were developed to meet the same technical regulations as the ones in DTM, but with the exception of the regulations regarding the engines.
The company has plans to get Nissan GT-R Nismo GT500 do a demonstration this weekend at Round 5 of the Super GT series at Suzuka in Japan and the best part is that the visitors will also be able to view the other two above mentioned cars from Lexus and Honda.
Nissan also has plans to showcase the race-spec GT-R on December 1st at Fuji Speedway during the Nismo Festival. However as of now the company has not revealed any further details about the participating teams and specifications of the car but we can expect that the same will be announced at a later date.
