Nissan is one automaker that has a loyal fan base, especially when it comes to such a sports car as the GT-R. Now, the Japanese automaker in question has decided to completely take the veil off its special edition GT-R Nismo N-Attack package. The car has been unveiled at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon event.
For those who wonder, the N-Attack actually stands for Nurburgring Attack. Well, it can quite easily be guessed that the car must have done some lap tests at the said track, which is absolutely correct. Back in March 2014, Nissan tested the said GT-R at the said track and now the Japanese company is more than ready to introduce the vehicle to the world’s public. The Nissan GT-R Nismo N-Attack Package basically comes with a kit that the company used to complete the Nurburgring lap with an impressive lap time record of 7:08.679.
Speaking of the N-Attack Package, it comes with such stuffs as a stabilizer bar, revised brake pads for the front tires and a set of adjustable dampers from Ohlins. Other notable components incorporate a redesigned rear spoiler wing that users can operate according to their will, a set of carbon fiber front venders and also a carbon fiber engine hood.
The Japanese company has also lived up to its promise to offer the N-Attack Package with a carbon plate limited slip differential for the rear, front limited slip differential, a traction control management system, an engine control unit and a weight reduction kit.
As reported by the Indian Autos Blog, this seems to be the very first time ever that the Japanese car manufacturer in question is trying to offer keen buyers such an exciting vehicle, a record breaking vehicle model with a performance worth testing on the Nurburgring test track.
