Acura entry-level crossover under consideration

by SpeedLux

Acura is apparently considering an entry-level crossover that would slot beneath the RDX as per the latest report.

The crossover is being envisioned to compete with models like the BMW X1 and Buick Encore and could be quite similar to the production version of the SUV-X concept that debuted at this year’s Shanghai Motor Show.

The reports suggests that despite confirming the model was under consideration, American Honda’s Senior Vice President of automobile operations told Ward’s Auto that there was infact no need for an entry-level crossover as of now because they feel that with the RDX and the MDX and which is more than enough at this stage to manage.

Mike Accavitti even went ahead and said that Lexus only offers one crossover and neither the BMW X3 or X5 are very strong ones in this matter.
