Acura has recently announced its plans to introduce as many as three different concepts at the SEMA Motor Show.
Firstly, the RLX VIP sedan created by Evasive Motorsports comes fitted with frivolous carbon fiber components. Other highlights of the model include a sports exhaust system, high-performance brakes and 21-inch wheels wrapped with Continental ExtremeContact DW tires.
Next is the RLX Urban Luxury sedan which is more subdued and comes with features such as a brushed black metallic wrap, a rear spoiler and 22-inch Niche Apex-M125 wheels covered with Nitto Invo tires. Changes to the interiors are limited but the cabin has brushed black metallic trim.
Last but not the least, the Street Performance ILX has been designed to appeal to the enthusiast looking for a fun car that feels at home on city streets or a curvy mountain pass. It comes equipped with a matte copper metallic wrap, an Acura Genuine Accessories body kit and 19-inch wheels shrouded in Nitto NT05 Max tires.
Under the hood, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder mill has been equipped with a CT Engineering supercharger kit, an optimized ECU and a sports exhaust system. Thanks to these modifications, the engine is able to produce 250 hp (186 kW).
