Alfa Romeo Vittorio Jano Design Study for replacing the 159 sedans

by Alex

The famous Italian designer Marco Procaccini happens to be the sole and independent owner of his brain child, the Alfa Romeo Vittorio Jano concept sedan. Going by Procaccini’s way, he wanted a sporty look for his sedan, which also had five door, fastback and big enough to seat four people in it comfortably. He named his dream sedan after an Italian car race designer Vittorio Jano who is of Hungarian descent and had worked at the Alfa Romeo from the era of 1920’s and through the 1930’s.

This sporty hunk is made for the replacement of the Alfa Romeo’s BMW 3-series-fighting 159 sedans; this newly designed vehicle has the dimensions as well as the length of the Vittorio Jano, measuring 4,650mm in length. The width stands out to be 1,830mm and the all important height at 1,400mm. A sports wagon study is necessary to design it, added the designer. Included here is the gallery and the video after the jump.
