The British based car manufacturer Land Rover, as discussed earlier were planning to launch around 16 models by 2020, that piece of news has turned in to be true. As per the latest reports, it is said that Land Rover plans to launch around 16 models by 2020.
The division are like follows: luxury (Range Rover), leisure (Discovery/Freelander) and utility (Defender).
The luxury segment includes the new Range Rover, upcoming Range Rover Sport and the Evoque with XL, cabriolet and baby versions, In the leisure section, there’s a luxurious version of the Discovery, the regular Discovery, along with five- and seven-seater Freelander and a smaller version as well. As for the utility department, this includes the current Defender, a next-gen model with five seats due in 2016/2017, a Long Wheel Base version is also due in 2016/2017, a pick-up version that could debut in late 2015 / early 2016, as well as a production version of the DC100 that will have a 100-inch wheelbase, and according to a recent report is said that Land Rover is working on an RS version of the Range Rover Sport.
