British high-end automaker Aston Martin made a pre-tax loss of 127.9 million pounds ($170.61 million) last year, the 5th consecutive year the automaker earned no profit, as the variety of cars it offered fell and as it purchases growth.
The company stated on Monday that 3,615 of their cars were sold in 2015, below the 3,661 luxury designs in 2014. CEO Andy Palmer informed Reuters in October that he expected volumes would be “somewhat above” the levels of 2014.
The company, famous for making the DB5 sports car driven by imaginary secret agent James Bond, is also investing heavily to develop a new DBX crossover model at a brand-new facility in Wales as part of strategies to expand its appeal.
