Racing street-legal cars in events such as the Nürburgring 24 Hours have brought some notoriety to Aston Martin. And now, Aston Martin is all set to bring a bit of the ’Ring to Pebble Beach’ this time.
A limited-edition motor sports model will make its U.S. debut in August this year. The event would be held at the famed California concourse. This special edition would be known as the V8 Vantage N420.
The special edition would be filled to its full capacity with a 420 hp from Aston’s 4.7-liter V8. With this powerful engine the super car becomes capable of a top speed of 180 mph. The coupe and roaster forms of the N420 will be available late this year in the United States.
The super car reposes on the brand’s inherited pattern of action of competition and road-going prowess. The N420 also follows in the skid marks of the special-edition N400 from 2007.
The Aston’s full sports pack including revised springs, dampers and anti-roll bars to sharpen handling will all be featured in the new N420. It will be filled, to the point of almost overflowing, with an imposing sounding exhaust system.
The car also features wider sills, a carbon-fiber splitter, side skirtings and a diffuser. The super car is set to roll on a set of 10 spokes alloy wheels. The alloy wheels would be painted in a gloss black finish. The sports car features both manual and automatic transmission system with six-speed.
The graphite instruments along with sill plaques and adjustable sports seats are fitted on inside the speed demon. The “race track” stitching may also be seen in the V12 Vantage.
The buyers has the option to select from a traditional Aston Martin paint schemes consisting of blue, yellow, green or black and white adding value to the racing feel. The N420 is an assent, agreement or confirmation to Aston’s racing approach. It has run road-registered cars at the Nürburgring 24-hour race since 2006.
