Audi A4’s Headlamps and Taillights Revealed

by SpeedLux

The luxury German automaker, Audi, is reportedly working on a next generation model of its A4 sedan, also known as the B9. It has been quite a while that people have yet to find out what kind of design that the company will apply on to the headlamps and taillights of the vehicle in question. Now, the vehicle has been spotted in yet another set of spy photos and this time, its headlamps and taillights have been revealed.

It seems that the Ingolstadt-based company is determined to get rid of the camouflage previously placed upon the car’s headlamps and taillights. Now, it is clearly visible that the luxury German sedan, which is slotted under the Audi A6, will be coming with LED lighting technology. In addition to that, it can also be seen that the vehicle is going to feature a lower ride height when compared to its predecessor. However, there is a possibility that this will change if the company is actually just testing out the suspensions of the car at the moment. It seems that the new A4 will also be bigger in dimension than its predecessor. This makes good sense, to be honest, considering that the German company has also started building and selling A3 model these days. After all, customers should be able to tell which one is an A3 and which one is an A4, right?

The upcoming A4 from Audi will be sitting on the company’s second generation of the MLB platform. And, in terms of performance, the vehicle is expected to pack either a 1.4L, 1.8L, 2.0L or 3.0L TFSI engine for its petrol variant. As for the diesel variant, customers can expect either a 1.6L or a 2.0L TDI engine, with a 3.0L TDI engine being in the work. The car will also be coming with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed automatic transmission. This transmission will send power either to the front wheels or to all wheels if the customers choose to purchase the all-wheel-drive (AWD) Quattro setup.

The Audi A4 will be coming out shortly before the Audi Avant and the Audi A5 make their scheduled debut next year. As usual, customers will be provided with three body styles, Sportback, cabriolet and coupe.
