Audi and Italian furniture designer Poltrona Frau have joined hands for a special edition of the recently facelifted A8 flagship.
In the interiors, the changes are limited as the cabin has received elegant aniline leather upholstery that has an Agatha cognac hue. It was obtained from Poltrona Frau and is characterized as being particularly soft and natural looking. There is diamond quilting on the center of the seats whereas the inlays are made of fine grain olive ash natural silver brown.
This gray brown shade on the seats is further complemented by the granite gray piping, stitching and central pleat of the seats. A similar granite gray shade can also be found on the door top shoulders, steering wheel and on the instrument panel’s upper section that has been wrapped in Nappa leather. Other changes to the model include a snow white Alcantara headliner, jet gray carpeting and a cognac brown Alcantara for the rear shelf.
The 2014 Audi A8 Exclusive Concept will be available only with the W12 engine rated at 500 HP (368 kW) and in the long wheelbase version. Production will be limited to just 50 units, with deliveries is expected to commence in March next year.
