Approaching the imminent Geneva Motor Show event this year, the luxury German automaker, Audi, has decided to release a number of teaser images. The images depict what the company dubs the Prologue Avant, in its concept version. According to reports, the car will actually come to the aforementioned auto expo.
Judging by the teaser images released by Audi, it is very likely that this new vehicle from the German company is set to compete head to head with the CLS Shooting Brake from Audi’s rival company, Mercedes-Benz, which is also from Germany. After all, both vehicles feature a rather similar style.
Speaking of the Prologue Avant, Audi claims that the vehicle will have a huge impact on the design language of the company’s future models. The impact will supposedly be visible on the company’s upcoming A8, A7 and also A6 models. With that being said, it is more than likely that these vehicles will have a low roofline, large hexagonal front grille typical of Audi and also largely sized 5-spoke razorblade alloy wheels. All of these components are clearly visible on the Audi Prologue Avant concept.
For its front fascia, this concept car from Audi sports matrix LED headlamps paired with huge air intakes. Meanwhile, for its rear fascia, the car comes with a subtle roof spoiler, largely sized hexagonal exhaust pipes and also interconnected LED taillights.
For those wondering about what the car can offer in its cabin, they will find a number of OLED touchscreen display panels spanning across the dashboard. Unlike other vehicles available in common out there, this particular vehicle from Audi is not going to have any physical buttons whatsoever inside the cabin, or at least so it seems with the concept.
The luxury German automaker will reportedly show off the Audi Prologue Avant in full when the 2015 Geneva Motor Show actually kicks off.
