A number of images have appeared on the World Wide Web and these images depict the next generation 7-Series from BMW. Interestingly enough, besides the regular variant of the aforementioned vehicle model, some of the images also reveal the variant equipped with the M Sport Package. Speaking of which, it must be very interesting to see what the model has in store with the optional modification package installed.
For a start, the car seems to have an aggressive visual styling. Its body is now equipped with low sports suspension, larger wheels, quad exhaust pipes, largely sized side skirts and also a pair of massive air intakes. Yet, it turns out that the car is not only aggressive when it comes to the visual design but also in terms of performance.
The upcoming M Sport Package variant of the 2016 BMW 7-Series will reportedly pack a higher power than that of its older brother, whose production will probably be ceased soon enough. Speaking of the power, it is very likely that the upcoming M750i model, the top of the 7-Series range, will feature a 4.4L V8 engine along with twin turbochargers. Despite the fact that it is being borrowed from the German marquee’s M5 model, this engine can somehow deliver 600 HP of power output in total.
Speaking of the 2016 BMW 7-Series, the car will most likely have its world premiere during the Frankfurt Motor Show event this year. This event is scheduled to take place in September. The car will reportedly sit on a lightweight chassis that makes good use of carbon fiber, highly strong steel and also aluminum materials.
Some media out there are also reporting that the luxury sedan from the German marquee will be coming with a 6.6L V12 6-cylinder engine that comes from the Rolls-Royce Wraith and Ghost, to begin with. In addition to that, customers may also expect a plug-in hybrid engine that combines an efficient electric motor with a 4-cylinder engine. Meanwhile, for customers looking to buy an entry level variant of the luxury German sedan, they may as well consider the diesel variant of the model. This one comes with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that delivers about 260 HP of power.
